Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

Account data. Name, work email, password hash, role, tenant, and your stated company name.
Interview content. Audio, video, transcripts, and AI scores generated during candidate interviews you conduct on the platform.
Operational telemetry. Request logs, error reports, and feature usage. PII fields (SSN, credit-card numbers, phone numbers, addresses) are redacted before logs leave the request scope.

2. How We Use It

Account data is used to authenticate you and route you to the correct workspace. Interview content is processed by our AI providers (Anthropic, ElevenLabs, OpenAI Whisper) under signed data-processing agreements to generate the scores and transcripts you see in the dashboard. We do not sell candidate data, and we do not train external models on your interviews.

3. Where It Lives

Database: MongoDB Atlas (multi-region with backups encrypted at rest). Recordings: Wasabi S3-compatible storage (encrypted in transit and at rest). Logs: AWS CloudWatch (7-day retention).

5. Retention

Active workspace data is retained while your account remains open. On termination, candidate data is exportable for 30 days and then permanently deleted. Audit logs are retained for 13 months for compliance.

6. Your Rights

You can request export, correction, or deletion of personal data at any time. Contact privacy@zazz.io with your tenant id.

7. Cookies

We use a single first-party authentication cookie. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on the candidate-facing interview pages.

8. Changes

Updates publish via the super-admin legal panel and are versioned. Material changes prompt re-acceptance on next sign-in.
